Glass is not an all-purpose computer, it's a Google computer. All of its core experiences are based on Google+,

 Google Search, and Gmail, and there's no way to change that. The more of a Google ecosystem adherent you are, the more utility you'll get out of Glass. If you're okay with that, Glass can be a really slick, natural experience. If you're not okay with that, you should probably be in the market for a different wearable computer.
